Friends Don't Let Friends Sit on the Couch!

Tuesday, January 10th

9:30AM-12:30PM

Elawa Farm in Lake Forest

$100 - 10% of your ticket will be donated to Blessings in a Backpack

Join me and the zen of slow cooking to slow down and slow cook at Elawa Farm. During this 3-hour retreat, I will lead you through a one-hour gentle yoga practice, an activity to set your intention for the season, and a wellness talk to set sustainable healthy new year goals. Meg Barnhart and Jane McKay, co-creators of the zen of slow cooking, will take over from here with a mini slow cooking demonstration, slow cooking tips and full slow-cooked lunch. Leave feeling fed in mind, body and soul...and with recipes, spices and wellness tips to savor each moment in the new year ahead.

Feel good. Do good. 10% of your ticket will be donated to support Blessings in Backpack's local effort at St. Vincent Family Services, which works to feed 160 food-insecure children in their Pre-Kindergarten program each week.
